Women Empowerment
In Bihar employment scenario is grim
which result in migration of males to
bigger cities in search of employment,
leaving behind women, children and
aged person to live an isolated and
meaningless life. To reduce this, RSF is
making sincere efforts to organize poor
women in self-help groups and link
them with some income generation
activities for their empowerment. RSF
adopts three pronged strategy once the
group is formed.
i. The first one is to conducted regular
meetings to make them organized,
ii. second is to train them on the
management of their groups and
iii. third one is to link them with banks
and other financial institutions for
starting small businesses.
